About Ashley Hagar
I am a recent graduate of Seattle University with a BA in strategic communications & media and environmental studies. I have internship experience in environmental marketing as well as digital media creation. I have also done research on greenwashing, food labeling and organic purchasing behaviors. Through my experiences, I have gained valuable skills in environmental communication, social media design, and research.
I am passionate about educating others about climate action and the environment through my environmental communications skills. I hope to combine both of my areas of study to further educate those around me.

This guide was created as an educational material for individuals, specifically Seattle University students, to learn more about various food labels and certifications. The labels were tailored to Seattle U based off of purchasing behavior, sustainability goals, and dining labels.
